Furstume ("we", "us") makes an app that turns photos of your dog or cat into AI costume portraits. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect

How portraits are made
When you create a portrait, your pet's reference photos and the chosen costume description are sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI, which generates the image. Google processes this data on our behalf under its Cloud terms and does not use it to train its models. Photos of people are not accepted.
Where your data is stored
- Account data, credits and pet profiles: Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Authentication).
- Pet photos and portraits: our private servers, accessible only through expiring, signed links tied to your account.
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run Furstume: Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, app integrity), Google Cloud Vertex AI (image generation), Google AdMob (rewarded ads) and our web hosting provider. Each processes data under its own privacy terms. Google's: policies.google.com/privacy.
How long we keep data
We keep your pets, portraits and account until you delete them or your account. When you delete your account, we delete your photos, portraits, pet profiles, credits and sign-in account. We keep only the one-way device hash, no longer linked to you, so the welcome bonus cannot be claimed again on the same device.
Your choices and rights
- Delete any pet, photo or portrait in the app, or your whole account in Settings → Delete account & data. See how to delete your account.
- Notifications can be turned off in the app or in your phone settings.
- Ads personalization can be limited or reset in your phone's Google settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK, Canada or Australia), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Furstume is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your photos and portraits requires your signed-in account, and only genuine copies of the app can reach our servers.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
